THE ROLE

OBERLAND is looking for an Account Executive to join their growing team. This person will be supporting multiple accounts within the OBERLAND portfolio of clients. We are in need of someone who is interested in purpose-driven marketing, has a great attitude and has agency experience. This role is for someone who can be a true partner to our clients and cross-functional agency team.

The role will support an Account Director on a variety of clients, and types of assignments for the Strategy, Creative and Production departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Administrative – schedule meetings, book conference rooms
  • Project management – write status reports, provide feedback, track timelines and deliverables.
  • Financial tracking – track hours and external costs against estimates, enter timely information into the agency tracking system, assist in creating budget(s), and check billing statements for accuracy.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the Account Director on day-to-day client activities and internal/external communications. 
  • Heavy involvement in a variety of work streams focusing on TV, experiential, print/OOH, digital and social.
  • Assist with scoping, scheduling and resource management across multiple agency accounts.
  • Prepare status reports and contact reports.
  • Ensure that day-to-day tasks and milestones for each assigned project are met on time and on budget.
  • Generate weekly financial reports for the Agency leadership.
  • Monitor progress of marketing campaigns from initial concept through completion.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients across various disciplines, business areas and regions throughout the organization, as well as agency counterparts on the Creative, Strategy Project Management and Production teams.
  • Study the business categories of the clients to become a subject matter expert.
  • Overall, the role of the Account Executive is to support the team and help the business run smoothly.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in advertising or related field.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work both independently and within a team.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Critical thinking – ability to onboard and comprehend information in context and appropriately apply it to move things forward.
  • Proficient computer skills: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Keynote, and Google equivalents.

SALARY
  • $60,000 to $70,000 base salary.
